75+ Gifts for Hiking, Camping, Skiing & Adventure-Loving Moms
Hey! My name is Emily and I am a mom and a self-proclaimed super-oudoorsy woman. I call the high Rockies of Colorado home, where you'll usually find me hiking, camping, skiing, mountain biking, climbing, or chasing my daughter down another trail.
Over the years, I've accumulated... let's just say a lot of outdoor gear. Some of it has become absolute staples that I never leave home without, while other pieces looked great in the store but rarely make it out of the gear closet. This gift guide is filled with the items that have truly earned a permanent spot in my adventure kit.
Everything you'll find here is either something I personally own and genuinely love, or something that's currently sitting on my own wish list that I'd be absolutely thrilled to unwrap. (I figure if I'd be excited to receive it, it's earned a spot on the list.)
Whether you're shopping for your adventurous wife, your camping-obsessed best friend, your ski-loving mom, or you're just looking for a few ideas to casually send to someone shopping for you, I hope this guide helps you find the perfect gift for the outdoorsy woman in your life.
P.S. I'll be updating this list over time as I find more goodies so check back!

My Top 10 Favorite Gifts for Outdoorsy Moms
If you're only buying one thing, start here. These are the gifts I recommend over and over because they're practical, thoughtfully made, and get used on nearly every adventure.
The MVP of outdoor clothing. I once told my husband that I am just going to buy these in every color so I have a pair for every day of the week and BOOM wardrobe solved. They are so cute, you can spill stuff on them (or your kids can) and its wipes right off, they are perfect for all activities (hiking, biking) but cute enough to go grab drinks after.
This espresso maker changed the game for us while camping not only does it make cafe quality espresso, but it has a milk foamer so you can make cappuccinos, lattes, etc. It feels like true luxury while camping, and honestly we use it at home now because its better than our Nespresso machine.
As a mom I never leave the house without a daypack. Some moms bring purses, but I know I might end up hiking a mountain and I am going to need snacks, water, sunscreen, small toys, camera, more snacks... you get it. I love my day pack because its colorful and cute but also lightweight and has a ton of pockets!
I was skeptical of these blankets until I tried one at a festival. They are deceptively warm!! They pack down super small so they are great for camping and road trips plus they are mad to be outside so they don't collect leaves and dirt like other blankets. Kind of a must-have and they also have great colors/designs.
My brother bought me a small turquoise in-laid packet knife for my birthday one year and it honestly been one of my favorite gifts of all time. It comes in handy while camping, but it also feels like a small (but useful) treasure!
Just a must-have for camping and honestly everywhere. Whether she's into coffee, tea, hot toddies, or even for cold cocktails these things are SO nice to have. I like the YETI ones because they have the magnetic lid closer-thing so they never spill.
about 10 years ago someone gave us this camp chair when we got engaged. Its a "loveseat" which is very romantic, but also we have loved this chair for SO LONG. Its the most comfortable and we love being able to snuggle. This gift is pretty sweet for you too, so its a win/win.
I think I speak for all moms when I say we want to capture ALL the memories, but we don't want to always be glued to our phones. The Camp Snap camera is much fun because you get the old feeling of using a disposable camera without all the hassle and $$ of film. They also have a video camera!
I'm just obsessed with these shoes and I feel like they look great with everything. They are super practical and last basically forever. So if you know your girls shoe size, these are a win.
Ok we all love a campfire, but sometimes I'm not super into smoke in my eyes or the fact that my kid is basically smoking the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes sitting by the campfire all weekend. So we invested in a Breeo Smokeless pit and we love it! My favorite part is actually the cooking attachments though. Makes camp cooking way more fun (and more delicious).
